Area covered
Since local government reorganisation on 1 April 1996, the Clyde area can now be redefined as: South Lanarkshire, North Lanarkshire, City of Glasgow, East Renfrewshire, Renfrewshire, Inverclyde, East Dunbartonshire, West Dunbartonshire, Stirlingshire (Clyde/Loch Lomond drainage areas, the Campsie Fells, and Carron Valley Reservoir), Argyll & Bute (former Dunbartonshire part, i.e. Loch Lomond/Clyde drainage including east side of Loch Long to Arrochar (then Loin Water as boundary).

Available from the Assistant Recorders (see above), branch meetings, Waterston House, Aberlady, and RSPB Lochwinnoch Nature Reserve shop: 2004 at £6 + £1.00 p&p (please make cheques payable to SOC Clyde Branch). Other years may be available and an electronic gazetteer is available on request from the Assistant Recorders.
