The focus of this year’s Scottish Birdwatchers’ Conference will be the bird life in Fife and beyond, and the ornithological research that is being conducted in the Kingdom.

A line-up of first class speakers will be presenting insights on a wide and fascinating range of subjects, so there’s sure to be something of interest for everyone. The conference venue, The Carnegie Conference Centre in Halbeath, is well geared-up to cope with an event of this scale.

For those thinking of staying over and making a weekend of it, March on the Fife coast is one of the best months for seabirds with divers and sea ducks (including regular Surf Scoter and King Eider), to be found in good numbers. Bird watching trips to some of our favourite birding spots will be organised for the Sunday morning.

We hope to see you there!
