Join SOC staff for an introduction to cyanotype, one of the earliest forms of photographic printing processes using iron oxides to create stunning Prussian Blue images.

To complement our current exhibition Shorelines the SOC would like to invite you to a morning workshop where you can have a go at cyanotype printmaking. Using items found along the shore such as seaweed, shells and coastal grasses, you will learn about the technique and create your own artwork to take home, so come along and experiment!

All materials will be provided, but feel free to bring any objects you'd like to try - items with delicate outlines and/or that are semi-translucent tend to work well.

The cost is £15. Places on this course are limited so please book quickly to avoid disappointment.
